Solid wood furniture is beautiful, natural, safe, and contrary to what some people might think, wooden furniture is genuinely environmentally friendly when sourced from certified forests.

Trees and forests have been cultivated for food and wood since the beginning of human history. When wood is sustainably harvested, it's an excellent way to capture and store CO2. Wood from controlled forests is the most beautiful and eco-friendly material for furniture.

Unfortunately, some profit-driven companies abuse forests, especially rainforests.

Handmade wooden furniture lasts a lifetime, unlike cheap commercial furniture produced by large chains.


Fortunately, many people, especially customers, are becoming more aware of sustainability. Good forestry and wood harvesting are the new trend. For real wood, I primarily use PEFC or FSC-certified wood and exclusively natural and health-safe oils.
